Casa Baja, a Spanish restaurant, is the second of two projects completed at Columbia Circle in Shanghai. The Restaurant brings the warmth and vibrancy of the Mediterranean to a historic setting alongside a late 1920s swimming pool. The interior combines rustic charm with refined craftsmanship, featuring terracotta floors, hand-painted tiles, woven rush chairs, and arched wooden doorways that frame the space with timeless character. Playful wall art and textured finishes evoke the coastal spirit of Spain, while the bar glows with red accents and patterned flooring, creating a lively focal point. Outdoors, turquoise-painted chairs and breezy poolside seating extend the dining experience into a sunlit colonnade, where guests can enjoy tapas and wine against the backdrop of rippling water and neoclassical architecture.
